Damien Garza, President



Damien Garza most recently servied as Interim President of the GHMA. He is President of Electronic Services Unlimited, Inc., a contract manufacturing service company located in the heart of Houston.  With expertise in electronic assembly, Mr. Garza and his staff help customers bring leading edge products to market from inception to production.  Damien and his staff believe that quality workmanship equals longevity for their customers’ devices, and peace of mind for their customers’ brand.  As a native Houstonian, he is a proud graduate from The University of Houston, Bauer College of Business, where he also completed certifications in Corporate Entrepreneurship, and The Program for Excellence in Selling.  Damien is a published children’s book author, golf enthusiast, and a fun-loving guitar player.  You can contact him by email at damien@esuinc.com or through his company website: www.esuinc.com

Marcus Wilkins, President-Elect



Marcus Wilkins is the Development Specialist for Atec, Inc., an aerospace engineering and manufacturing services corporation located in Stafford, TX.  Atec was recently named the NASA 2016 Small Business Subcontractor of the Year and SBA 2016 Region 6 Small Business of the Year.  Since retiring from a six-year National Football League career, Mr. Wilkins has engaged the Houston business community with consultation regarding strategic corporate communications and business integration strategy for small to large companies in the Greater Houston area.  Marcus is the former Director of Membership at the Greater Houston Partnership, Houston's regional chamber of commerce. He is also an active member of the Houston NFLPA and Huddle Up Foundation Houston. Mr. Wilkins is an accomplished speaker and facilitator of corporate programs and events, with a focus on increasing revenue by improving workforce engagement and strategic alliances in the business community. Michael Veuleman, Treausrer

Dr. Michael Sanders, Secretary


 

Dr. Michael Sanders is co-founder of Beehivefund Corp., a non-profit foundation with a mission to support innovative production systems and technologies through a global network of people and organizations. Dr. Sanders has 27 years of industry and academic experience during which he has owned and operated manufacturing and distribution companies. He has published numerous technical articles and led successful improvement projects in various industries including Oil & Gas, Automotive, Food, Petrochemical, and Packaging. He is sought as a master practitioner in implementing lean, six sigma, quality and regulatory compliance in businesses. Dr. Sanders’ academic background range from biochemistry to engineering to business management. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Texas Tech University.

Wayne Mausbach, Director


 

Wayne Mausbach is Managing Partner of Intuitivum Group which helps small and medium size manufacturing companies realize greater profits by applying advanced manufacturing processes. The Intuitivum group utilizes the experience working in Fortune 500 companies to leverage the same technology to the smaller manufacturing companies. Wayne is a native Houstonian and one of the founding members of GHMA working with the  Society of Manufacturing Engineers. A Professional Engineer, Wayne is active as a alumni board member at the University of Houston. A passion for manufacturing and STEM education, Wayne is a eleven year judge for FIRST Robotics and continues to mentor students for a career in manufacturing. Patrick White, GHMA Past President, Director



Patrick White has worked in the manufacturing sector for over twenty years. Patrick served as the 2014 President of the Greater Houston Manufacturers Association and was included as one of the original founding directors of the organization. He manages a number of key national clients as an account executive for LSI Industries ( www.lsi-industries.com ), a manufacturer of architectural graphics, signs, lighting and printed products. Patrick has served on the board of the Gulf Coast Medical Device Manufacturers (GCMDM), participated in the Global Cities Initiative for Houston’s development of a Metro Export Plan, and is involved with the Lonestar College Global Energy and Manufacturing Advisory Council. With exposure to courses and training through the American Production and Inventory Control Society, Patrick has absorbed a great deal of industry knowledge in the manufacturing sector. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University where he serves on the MSU National Alumni Board. He is a board of trustee with the Northland Christian School where his three children attend, and volunteers with the charitable organizations, 45 & Hope and the American Cancer Society.  Patrick enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends. Juan Millian, Director

 

Juan Milian is Director of Manufacturing Operations at Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) is a leading manufacturer of high-quality forklifts and warehouse products in North, Central and South America. Based in Houston, the company distributes three distinct brands – Mitsubishi forklift trucks, Cat® lift trucks and Jungheinrich® warehouse products – through its extensive dealer network. Juan has over 25 years of manufacturing experience serving in various operations roles in several industries: automotive, steel, construction, aerospace, energy and machinery. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
